YBA'S..YTJ#12

The "Young British Artists" were the big story in the late nineties and early "aughties"..the Yale Grads and American artists in general were so deathly serious by comparison. The Brits were charismatic and so much better with the spoken word. The Americans were coming out of art school with this MFA grad thesis boilerplate and the Brits were showing us that "hey we invented ENGLISH.." they sounded so much better in print and tv interviews.
